Hedgehog, Piglet & Prism Prints!

Ideas are flowing sofar in 2025, 4 paintings complete and 6 more on the go! All of the art at my usual haunts (Colossi’s, Okotoks Walk-In, Selective Seconds, Highwood Gallery) has been updated & re-stocked, lots of new stuff to check out including the new Prism Prints (currently making their debut at the Okotoks Walk-In Clinic). The library exhibit begins on Feb 1^st and there will be over 80 prints on display.

I do appreciate the tried and true but there’s always room for something exciting & new! 

(I wonder if I could write an entire blog in poetry form?) hmm…

 

I’ve been tinkering with this idea for quite some time and it finally all came together. Each one is a digital edit of my original acrylic painting(s) mounted with magic in a glassed frame! The shimmers & colors move with you bringing the image to life.

 

The first of these will make their debut at the Okotoks Walk-In clinic where 20% of all sales are donated to local heath & wellness equipment/programs in the foothills.

 I love the holidays and I also love getting back to business…refreshed!

New year and new beginnings! 

 

It’s purdy cold where I am and January is essentially one never-ending Monday so, I was happy to get creative! I had a few ideas started at the end of 2024 which I made it really easy to dive back in.

 

After all the Christmas show bustle I’ll be busy this month re-stocking inventory and getting ready for a February exhibition at my local library.

It’s cold, it’s snowy (18+ inches but who’s counting) and the holiday bustle has begun! I’ve done 2 Christmas markets and there are 2 more to go! Shipping has been compromised with the postal strike but all you locals can always rely on free pick up/delivery!
