Bit of a painting hiatus this past while, it was nice to get back at it! It’s like riding a bike…right? More like a unicycle! I was compelled to create something in honor of Remembrance Day and inspiration fired immediately. Then I decided to try metal etching some butterflies, a fine selection of dental tools scraping on metal, sounded horrendous! But it was worth it. Last but not least, headfirst into all things festive!

The Okotoks Art Gallery (OAG) is busy setting up for the Spirit of Christmas! The exhibit opens November 19th and goes right up until Christmas. Gallery displays include ornaments, jewelry, trinkets and, of course, ART! Lots of gift ideas, big and small.
