It’s been a productive week in the studio, 3 new paintings and a bunch of sketches ready for the canvas! Inspiration can be an elusive thing so I treasure these times of great creativity. I was especially happy to focus on my favorite subjects – eyes & faces with persoNatalie!

by the amazing Sarah Brightman as Blind Mag in REPO! The Genetic Opera. I
watched the movie again for reference and I do indeed still have it memorized
=)
This is
only a test… Contemplating censorship, and that pesky “internal edit button”. Can’t
claim to always use mine but I do strive to “pause” and think.
Something
of a metaphor… subtle communication revealed in the eyes and the whispered
words. Often the most powerful messages are conveyed through silence…
