Still too damn cold to work outside…but, I did it anyway. The metal art is too messy and fumy to do indoors so I girded my loins and got it done in the snow. Played with some different ideas and techniques, made a lot of racket and scared away the resident birds (hopefully I can lure them back with seeds and peanuts) =)
Plans seem to be well underway for many art shows in 2022, I’m trying to snatch up every opportunity and look forward to in person events!

So… every Spring, around Easter time, I get inspired to paint a ridiculously cute baby chicken. In my pursuit of excellence, I turn to the internet for reference photos. I very innocently (and naively) Google “cute chicks”. Every. Damn. Year! …It NEVER yields the results I’m looking for. Not even close. And suddenly, my targeted ads become an endless plethora of Viagra and dating sites. Ad nauseam. This year, I almost did it AGAIN *scoffs at self* ALMOST. So, here’s a baby raven instead. Ironically, I will pay homage to my repeated blunders and call it:
