Between all of the weeding, gardening, landscaping, deck & picnic table building, firepit welding, BBQing and general nice weather activities, I’ve not spent much time inside painting. But… I do have a few new pieces to share! I am also very excited to be back doing a bunch of shows this year!
It’s been about a year and a half since my last art exhibition/market. So that pretty much meant starting from scratch. New tent, new displays, new layout, everything! Lots of work but I think it’s been nice to get a fresh start! I’ve done one show so far this year, one of my favorite regular events and it was great! Thank you to everyone who came out to see me!

My next big show is on Canada Day so naturally I wanted to make something special for the occasion. I had fun with these maple leaf paintings, experimenting with a lot of texture (impesto) which is not usually found in my work as well as some new (and highly experimental) techniques.
