Which is the universal greeting from Transformers. What can I say, I live in a house full of guys =) Transform and rollout!
So…there’s been more painting, both on the canvas AND on my face. It’s just so dang exciting!
I happily started a couple of commission projects and worked on some of my own. Inspiration abounds! Lots of summer-y themes here, but it is August which (for me) usually means the Autumn/Halloween-y themes will inevitably start bubbling up…

I love painting trees and eyes so it seems kinda weird that I’ve waited so long to paint birch trees/bark. I wanted a bright, simple color scheme which allowed the red to really PoP!

Another exercise in contrasts and focus. Bokeh adds so much depth to an image and is fun to play with. Photo realism effects mixed with surreal and almost abstract concepts. Art can be anything you want it to be!
